Walker Chiropractic Frequently Asked Questions
Common Answers to Questions We Hear
Like other chiropractors, at Walker Chiropractic we hear many questions from new and current chiropractic patients. Below are answers to some of the most common questions we are asked.
Do you have any questions that aren’t answered here? Contact us today and let us answer all of your questions.
Once I start seeing a chiropractor, do I have to go forever?
No. We have people who come in to get out of pain, decide to leave, and then call us when they need us again. We encourage prevention and wellness, but it’s always up to the patient to decide.
Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor?
It depends on your insurance, but most of the time, no.
Will you work with my other doctors?
Absolutely, if you request it.
Do you provide exercises to do at home?
We do rehab exercises at the clinic. If the patient is having problems outside the practice, we will recommend exercises specific to their problem.
Can I see a chiropractor after back surgery?
Yes, we use low-force techniques and take X-rays to know precisely what’s happening.
Adjustments don’t hurt because we have many different techniques, and we’ll choose the right one for your needs. If an area is a little tender initially, we recommend the patient ice it.
Does chiropractic cure everything?
Chiropractic doesn’t cure anything. Our primary focus is on the nervous system, correcting the misalignment of the vertebrae and allowing the body to heal itself. Chiropractic helps with more issues than people think.
