Meet Dr. Scott Walker
Chalfont Chiropractor Dr. Scott W. Walker grew up in Brick, NJ, and was a very accomplished student athlete, graduating from Brick Township High School in 1985. He discovered the benefits of chiropractic care after suffering a neck injury while playing high school football. The results were so impressive that he was inspired to become a doctor and do for others what chiropractic did for him—help the body heal naturally.
Following the Path to the Dream
Dr. Scott graduated from La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA., in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. During his pre-med undergrad studies, he read a book written by his family osteopath, Dr. Paul Wilson, called The Touch. It was a fictional story about a doctor gifted with the ability to heal his patients of all conditions by placing his hands on them. It became one of Dr. Scott’s favorite books and helped him decide to go to chiropractic school.
After graduating from La Salle, Dr. Scott attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He loved the experience of being at the “‘Fountainhead of Chiropractic” and graduated summa cum laude as the class salutatorian with a 3.99 GPA and a Presidential Scholar.
Away From the Practice
Drs. Scott and Gail live in Furlong, PA, and are the proud parents of four children: Scott Jr., Alissa (Ali), Shannon, and Amelia (Mia). Dr. Scott loves being a dad, getting involved with all their activities, and helping them stay healthy with chiropractic care.
In addition, he is very active in the local community as a member of the Chalfont Lions Club since 1995 and is an active member at his church, Our Lady of Guadalupe of Buckingham.
